I read that most BA patients return to work within one the other day of surgery, begin light muscle building within two weeks, and may resume natural physical work and exercise within four to six weeks post-op. Bruising and most swelling should be resolved by week 6-8. Im planning to have this operation soon. breast augmentation PhilippinesAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02129713893472267466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1509311548976066926.post-25618395282915831152013-06-27T13:35:59.942-07:002013-06-27T13:35:59.942-07:00Thanks April - finally - I've got some idea ho...Thanks April - finally - I've got some idea how this will all work. Had a double mastectomy 2/6/13, revision to fix tissue expanders on 3/18, and am looking forward to getting the exchange surgery. I too am curious to hear about the final touches of your reconstruction. Thanks again for your blog. (I am 2 weeks post-op from my double mastectomy, and currently have tissue expanders.) I've devoured your blog because our situations are so similar. I'd love it if you could complete your story by posting about how the revision surgery results looked... and about your experience with nipple reconstruction. This blog has been a big encouragement to me and has helped me know what questions to ask my surgeon. I am wondering if you would have been comfortable wearing bathing suit tops adn tank tops while your expanders were in over the summer. That is when I will have mine, but I am worried they will be bulging out quite high on my chest adn will look unsightly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1509311548976066926.post-64392214473288025322011-09-22T19:49:17.475-07:002011-09-22T19:49:17.475-07:00I'm so glad that everything went well this go ...I'm so glad that everything went well this go around with the surgery part at least. I know what you mean about the schedule change junk. That happened with us for one of Samantha's things. They act like it's your fault that you are not there on time, we didn't even know about the change. Drama!

Sounds like you got all of your meds worked out too, that's awesome! I need to find out what anesthesia I had on my shoulder surgery last week, cuz that junk made me sooo sick, need to make sure I don't get that again.

I heard from Karen that you may be meeting with someone at Gilda's Place about the tattoo part of the procedure. I hope you get the answers you are looking for. Karen has been there several times for group sessions and said it is very helpful, I should try to go sometime.

Guess I'll see you in a few weeks at Sarah's wedding. I'm so proud of you. Hang in there, you're almost done!

AmyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
